Calgary Toy Show in the news!

Our recent Thanksgiving Toy Show got some great exposure in the local media here in Calgary.

First up, on the afternoon of Friday 6th October, the day before the event, show founders Graham Heeps and Jon Wynder were invited to appear on the CBC Calgary drivetime show, the Homestretch, as guests of host Chris dela Torre (pictured above).

It was fun to spend a few minutes talking out how we got into toy collecting and showing Chris a few of our favourite diecast models. Turns out Chris is a fan of 1960s Corvettes! Then on Saturday, we were delighted to welcome to the toy show Darren Makowichuk, a photographer with Postmedia (publishers of the Calgary Sun and Calgary Herald). Darren took some great shots of our visitors, you can see his work in a gallery on the Herald website here:
