Calgary Toy Show Newsletter: March 2026

Spring 2026 show details, 2025 show reports, charity donation news, visitor information and more!

Welcome to the Calgary Toy Show & Sale Newsletter, March 2026 edition! Time for an update from toy show HQ.

First up, at the head of this post you’ll spot the poster for our 2026 Spring Toy Show. We’ll be back at the Edgemont Community Centre on April 11 from 10am to 3.30pm with the same great range of vendors and collectible toys as always. Vendor spots sold out in just a few minutes, so it’ll be a full house of 83 tables of vintage and collectible toys across three rooms for you to browse and enjoy!

Visitor tickets are available on the door, cash only, at the usual price of $3 adults / $5 family (max two adults). Under 16s continue to enjoy free entry but we reserve the right to ask for ID if you look older than your years! Please treat our door volunteers with respect if they ask for proof of age.

We thoroughly enjoyed hosting two shows in 2025. The Spring Toy Show in particular was a cracker, with a whopping 1,000 visitors streaming through the door over the course of the day. Meanwhile there were seven first-time vendors among the 50 sellers at the Thanksgiving show. Whether it’s from a new seller or one of your returning favourites, we hope you’ll always find something new and interesting for your collection at our shows.

We were delighted to continue our fundraising for Inn From the Cold at both events in 2025 and we are thankful for the support of their enthusiastic volunteers to help us stage the show. It was a pleasure to donate $2,500 to the charity, to support their amazing work with families experiencing a housing crisis. The more visitors who come to the show, the more we can donate, so please come along to the Spring Toy Show on April 11 to help us raise more for this wonderful cause – and to track down some fantastic vintage and collectible toys, of course!

A popular new addition at the Thanksgiving Toy Sale in 2025 was the food truck of Mini Donuts Canada. Their donuts, coffee and other treats were a hit with visitors and we’re delighted that they will be back for the next show, too!

We also updated our street signage for the Thanksgiving show. After six years and 10 shows of faithful service, our original sandwich boards were looking a little tired, so have been refurbished with professionally printed signage to help direct visitors to the event.

Speaking of which, parking at the ECC is always tight at peak times on show days, especially in the morning. Please show courtesy to our wonderful venue partner and to your fellow patrons, and respect the parking lot limits. The area around the ECC building and Edgemont School, behind the white gate, is reserved for emergency services access and is therefore off-limits. Parking in that area contravenes a City bylaw as well as posing a hazard in the event of an incident.

That’s all from this update! Thanks again for supporting the Calgary Toy Show & Sale, and we look forward to seeing you on April 11.
