Everything you need to know about visiting the Calgary Toy Show & Sale!

Where is the Calgary Toy Show & Sale?

Our venue is the Edgemont Community Centre in northwest Calgary.
The full address is 33 Edgevalley Cir NW, Calgary AB, T3A 4X1. The Edgemont Community Centre is a non-smoking facility and only service animals are permitted, no pets.

Is there on-site parking?

Yes. Free parking is available in the large parking lots on site and in surrounding residential streets. Please be considerate of our neighbours if using street parking.

There is NO PARKING behind the building or on the basketball court – this is a fire lane and must be kept clear at all times.

How do I get to the show using Calgary Transit?

The show is accessible by taking the C-Train to Dalhousie Station and then riding the #77 or #54 bus to Edgemont. The closest stops are Edenwold Dr @ Edgemont Blvd NW (77) or WB Edgevalley Dr @ Edgevalley Cir NW (54). Follow the toy show signs to reach the Community Centre.

What will I find at the Calgary Toy Show & Sale?

The show features more than 80 vendor tables across three rooms – the Gym, the Mountain View Room and the Panorama Room. They’re filled with thousands of collectable and vintage toys: everything from new pocket-money items to rare vintage pieces costing hundreds of dollars. The exact mix of items for sale varies from show to show, depending on which vendors are present. There are usually Hot Wheels and other diecast cars, LEGO, Funko Pops, Pokémon cards and toys, Barbie, Disney, Star Wars, action figures, board games and many other types of toys.

Is the show family-friendly?

Yes, we pride ourselves on a family-friendly environment where everyone is welcome. We ask that vendors and visitors treat other attendees with courtesy and respect.

When is the best time to visit?

The show is open from 10am until 3.30pm. The morning is very busy and our most loyal collectors tend to line up early to get the best deals. If you are visiting with young children, you may wish to consider coming after lunch when there is more space to move around the halls.

How do I buy admission tickets?

We only sell admission tickets on the door on the day of the show. Cash is the only accepted method of payment for admission.

How much does admission cost?

Admission is $3 for adults, $5 for a family (maximum two adults per family). Under-16s go free! Remember, admission is cash-only.

What methods of payment do vendors accept?

It varies from vendor to vendor. Some are cash-only. Some will also accept card payment and/or e-transfer. Our advice is to bring plenty of cash. There is no ATM on site; the closest ATM to the show is in the Esso gas station at 35 Edenwold Dr NW.

What else should I bring?

Bags!

What are the door prizes?

Vendors kindly donate door prizes that are given away in regular draws through the day. On entry, your admission ticket will automatically be entered into the next prize draw. Be sure to check back with the admission desk before you leave to see whether you won a prize. All prizes must be claimed during the show.

Can I buy refreshments at the show?

Yes, we sell pop, bottled water and chips. For coffee, head to the Esso gas station or to Friends Cafe located right behind it.
